Zoe-Jerusha Beepat

Senior Software Engineer, Kythera Space Solutions

Zoe-Jerusha Beepat is a Senior Software Engineer at Kythera Space Solutions, where she designs and leads mission-critical software systems supporting satellite communications, automated resource allocation, and national security operations. Since joining Kythera after earning her degree in Computer Engineering, she has advanced to team lead and Product Owner on programs of strategic importance to the United States Space Force. Her work bridges technical depth and operational clarity, including production-deployed systems for electromagnetic interference management that protect space assets. Known equally for engineering rigor and collaborative leadership, Zoe-Jerusha exemplifies the ability to align complex software architecture with real-world mission demands.

Zoe-Jerusha joined Kythera Space Solutions in 2020 after graduating with a BS in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and has remained with the company throughout its growth. Over that time, she has worked across a wide range of satellite communications and ground-software challenges, supporting commercial operators, defense programs, and U.S. government missions. Her progression to senior engineer and product owner reflects not only technical capability, but sustained trust earned through execution in high-stakes environments.

Her most significant accomplishment has been serving as Product Owner for the development of an end-to-end electromagnetic interference management workflow for the United States Space Force. Under her leadership, the system moved from development into production use, supporting Department of Defense operations focused on protecting space assets from interference. The effort required integrating software design, operational constraints, and stakeholder priorities into a reliable, mission-ready system.

Her nominator, David Milliner of RKF Engineering Solutions, also commended Zoe-Jerusha for work he directly observed on Kythera-led client programs. This included creating algorithms and software to enable communication across a global satellite mesh under regulatory constraints for a Low Earth Orbit operator, as well as leading a subsystem team on a Geostationary Orbit operator program responsible for automated command deployment and error handling across broadband, ground control, and gateway systems.

Colleagues consistently describe Zoe-Jerusha as thoughtful, collaborative, and steady under pressure. She approaches complex technical discussions with care and respect, helping teams build consensus without sacrificing rigor or momentum. Her reputation is one of quiet authority and reliability.

Outside of her professional role, Zoe-Jerusha contributes her time to education and advocacy. She tutors students in mathematics and volunteers with the Immigrant Rights Coalition, supporting efforts to educate individuals about their rights. These commitments reflect the same clarity, patience, and systems thinking that define her technical work.
