SSPI has Named the 2026 Better Satellite World Award Recipients
(6 November 2026 — New York City & London) – Space & Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) has named the recipients of the 2026 Better Satellite World Awards. The awards honor organizations that have used space and satellite technologies to make a significant positive impact on the world. They demonstrate the creative and productive use of technology to improve lives and communities.
This year’s honorees are Hydrosat and Orange Mali in partnership with SES. Selected by an international jury, the 2026 recipients demonstrate the power of satellite technology to advance prosperity, health, education, sustainability, and inclusion worldwide.
They will be celebrated at the Better Satellite World Awards Dinner on 7 December in London, alongside the SSPI UK Chapter’s Personality of the Year, which will be announced live at the event.
“The impact of this year’s honorees spans humanitarian, economic, and environmental concerns, and both are stories that we as an industry can point to with pride,” said Tamara Bond-Williams, Executive Director of SSPI.
The Better Satellite World Awards Dinner will be hosted by the law firm Clyde & Co. at The St Botolph Building in London. For more details, visit http://bswdinner.com.
