SSPI Chair Emeritus David Myers Leads Successful Merger to form Applied Aerospace & Defense

Not too long ago, former SSPI Chairman David Myers announced his new role as Chief Strategy Officer of Applied Aerospace,   The  decision to bring David on as a chief strategist has paid off with today's announcement of a merger between Applied Aerospace and PCX Aerosystems, to form Applied Aerospace & Defense.

The two long-established aerospace companies are joining forces to create an enduring provider of critical flight, space, and defense hardware solutions.  Applied Aerospace & Defense is now one of, if not the largest provider of its kind in the U.S. aerospace industrial base.  The company leverages large scale production facilities in metallic, composite and advanced polymer manufacturing.  It builds complex hardware assemblies for launch vehicles, satellites, fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, missile defense, and maritime applications.  

David offered some key stats to highlight the significance of the merger:
