SSPI Announces the 2025 "20 Under 35" List of Young Professionals to Watch

(December 10, 2025 – New York City) – Space & Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) today announced the eighth annual 20 Under 35 list, spotlighting rising stars age 35 and under whose achievements are shaping the future of the space and satellite industry. These honorees will be recognized at SSPI’s inaugural Night of Excellence on March 24, 2026 during Satellite 2026, produced by Via Satellite magazine.

Drawn from companies and organizations across the commercial, government, and academic sectors, the 20 Under 35 honor those already driving innovation into orbit, as well as those at the beginning of their journey who are poised to play pivotal roles in the decade ahead. Nominations were submitted by SSPI’s global membership and reviewed by an independent panel of industry leaders.

During the Night of Excellence celebration, three honorees will be named Promise Award recipients, distinguishing them as firsts among firsts representing the 2025 cohort. They will also meet the Class of 2026 Hall of Fame inductees.

“It is both exciting and inspiring to see the talent of our industry represented by these 20 young professionals,” said SSPI Executive Director Tamara Bond-Williams. “And it is equally exciting to see this list evenly split between men and women… a trend that continues to signal a strong future for space and satellite.”
