The Orbiter: Commemorative Edition – 2026 Night of Excellence

The Inaugural Night of Excellence was hosted on March 24, 2026 at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. to induct the newest members of the Space & Satellite Hall of Fame, salute the “20 Under 35” rising stars, and present the Promise Awards.

For the first time, these honors came together on one stage. It was a celebration of excellence across generations, where legends and rising stars shared the spotlight.

The Honorary Chairs, who presented the awards to the Promise Award Honorees, the Space & Satellite Hall of Fame, and the "20 Under 35" were:

- Kidsan Barnes, Senior Vice President, Quvia

- Paul Gaske, Chief Operating Officer, Hughes
