Florida representing for the Global Steps Challenge
Talent is everywhere in the space and satellite industry. Opportunity is not. Every year, young professionals earn recognition and win scholarships to industry events. Every year, some of them cannot accept what they have earned because they cannot afford to get there. A scholarship is not access. A winning nomination is not a plane ticket.
The Space and Satellite Futures Access Grants exist to close that gap. Every dollar raised goes directly to putting people in rooms where careers are made: covering honoree seats at SSPI's Night of Excellence, reimbursing travel for 20 Under 35 recipients, and funding travel for scholarship and conference access winners who have earned their seat at events like Satellite, SmallSat Europe, and Space Symposium, but cannot afford to get there.
Our group goal is $11,000. Team Florida has an individual goal of $5,000. Collectively, that's enough to ensure every 20 Under 35 honoree attends the Night of Excellence with a guest. The full program need is $38,000. Every dollar beyond our first goal funds travel stipends and scholarships for the next generation of space and satellite professionals. If your employer matches charitable giving, this fund qualifies.
This campaign is powered by SSPI members and chapters worldwide through the #AccessSSPI Global Service Project: walks, cleanups, and community service events happening locally around the world on behalf of the next generation of space and satellite professionals.
