Leslie is presently supporting the Hughes Network Systems LLC (HUGHES) Defense and Government Systems team as Vice President, Strategic and Corporate Development. Other more recent endeavors included her role as a member of Viasat Government’s executive team as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, and proxy board member, where she was accountable for corporate strategy, capture, marketing, and business development.

Preceding Viasat, as a veteran of the satellite communications industry for over 35 years, she has served in other related executive roles as a member of the proxy board and Vice President, Development at SES Space and Defense, as a founder and board member of iDirect, and led other accomplishments at, Rockwell Collins Aerospace, Space Systems Loral, GTE Spacenet which was acquired by the SES Corporation, and her first position in the industry at Hughes Network Systems.

Leslie was appointed to serve in key advisory roles, including the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Council (NSTAC) SATCOM subcommittee to the President of the United States, the U.S. DoD CIO Mission Assurance Working Group (MAWG), and various roles supporting the Satellite Industry Association (SIA) executive board for over a decade, to include her appointments as both co-chairperson and chairperson.
