Budget/ Financial Analyst (Secret) - DODF9

Position Overview

Avantus Federal is currently seeking a Budget/ Financial Analyst to support budget and financial management efforts within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO).  Specific tasks will include:

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis on financial and budgetary trends impacting the office.

• Assist in developing and monitoring metrics to track the effectiveness and progress of programs.

• Monitor program execution to ensure alignment with DoD Comptroller Obligation and Expenditure benchmarks.

• Prepare various documents and briefings for review and use by senior DoD leaders.

• Assist in the development of required DoD PPBE process documentation, including RDT&E Descriptive Summaries, Budget Issue Papers, and Program Decision Memorandums.

• Assist in identifying efficiencies and process improvements to enhance mission and cost effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Secret clearance required. #AvantusClearedJob

• 5 years related experience required.

• 3+ years of DoD financial management experience required with 2+ years experience work with/in Defense Agency Initiative (DAI)
