A long-time member of our industry, Lea Traini, passed away at the end of October in the United Kingdom. She spent 20 years at Inmarsat, most recently as Head of Procurement and Contracts. In that role, she was respnsible for all of Inmarsat's contractual deadlings, including the Inmarsat-4 satellites, the launch vehicle contracts, ground systems and user termainals. She left Inmarsat in 2005 to pursue interests including property development and interior design, but continued to serve as a consultant on projects including the Galiliea Program. Her funeral took place Thursday, October 28.
