Satellite Industry Workforce 2009 Report – In the spring and summer of 2009 SSPI conducted its first-ever member survey. The survey was broad in scope – designed to test some of the anecdotal suppositions about the industry, and to gain better understanding of the perceived value of SSPI membership – and it yielded a wealth of information.

The Online Journal of Space CommunicationThe Journal is a peer-reviewed, scholarly publication, published through an alliance with Ohio University’s Institute for Telecommunications Studies, focusing on technical, historical, cultural, and business issues, and provides the world’s first academic forum devoted exclusively to advancing the understanding, development and application of satellite and space communications.

The Satellite Timeline – The Timeline is the first interactive site on the Web to chronicle the rich and diverse history of the commercial satellite industry and serves as a vital learning tool for satellite professionals, students, the news media, and the innovative companies that make up the industry.

Interviews – Listen to what recognized leaders in the industry have to say about how they got started, what needs to be done to recruit and retain talented professionals, as well as their views on trends in the industry.
